The Board of Directors of the Connecticut Breast Health Initiative Celebrates our
5th Anniversary and the announcement of the CT BHI 2007 Research Grants at the
New Britain Museum of American Art on October 16, 2007

CT BHI Professorship for Breast Cancer Clinical/ Translational Research

In addition to awarding the 2007 grants, CT BHI announced its new Connecticut Breast Health Initiative Fund to support an eminent physician/ professor to advance Clinical and Translational Research in Breast Cancer at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Together we are making a difference locally in the fight against breast cancer through education and research. The $300,000 grant is for a 3-year period.

2007 grants in the amount of $87,509. were also awarded on October 16 to the following grantees. Photos will be posted shortly.
